# Privacy policy

What the Delta MCP website collects, why, and how to have it deleted. No cookies, no ads, no trackers. If you leave your email, we use it once, to tell you when the app is out.

Updated 8 October 2026

## In short

- The site sets no cookies and loads nothing from other companies: no analytics, no ads, no outside fonts or scripts.
- If you leave your email, we use it for one message, when Delta MCP is out. No newsletter, no sharing. Ask and we delete it.
- We count clicks on the download buttons with a daily fingerprint. It can’t be followed from one day to the next, and your IP address isn’t kept.
- The Delta MCP app is separate: it runs on your computer. Its own rules are in Security & privacy.

## Who we are

This website, mcpdelta.com, is run by Delta MCP. You can reach us at [contact@mcpdelta.com](mailto:contact@mcpdelta.com). We are responsible for the data described on this page.

## Your email, if you join the waiting list

Joining is optional. You give us your email address in the “coming soon” window or at the top of the Download page. For each address we keep:

-   the email address;
-   the language of the page you were on;
-   the button or page you used (for example, the Download button in the page header);
-   the date and time;
- the version of the consent text you agreed to (a date), as proof of your consent.

We use it for one thing: to send you a single email when Delta MCP is out. No newsletter, no other messages, no sharing, no selling. Only the people who run Delta MCP can read the list.

Our legal basis is your consent. You give it by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time. That doesn’t affect what we did before.

We keep your address until you ask us to delete it. If we haven’t written to you 24 months after you signed up, we delete it anyway.

To withdraw or to have it deleted, write to [contact@mcpdelta.com](mailto:contact@mcpdelta.com), from that address or telling us which one it is. Every email we send you will also tell you how.

To stop abuse, the form limits how often one browser can try. It uses the same daily fingerprint as the click counter below, kept for one hour. This happens even if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, because it protects the form and is not used to follow you.

## The click counter

Until the app is out, the Download buttons open a “coming soon” window. When it opens, the site counts one click for that button. Nothing is counted if your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, and no cookie is set.

To estimate how many different people clicked, not how many times, our server makes a daily fingerprint: a keyed hash of your IP address and browser. The key changes every day, so the fingerprint can’t be followed from one day to the next, and your IP address and browser are never stored in readable form.

What is kept: the number of clicks per button and per day; the fingerprint for one hour, to count one visit per person per hour; and, for up to 40 days, a statistical estimate of the number of different people, which can’t list the fingerprints it was built from. No country, no city, no page, no referrer.

Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing whether people are waiting for the app. You can object at any time: see Your rights.

## Server logs

Like any website, our host receives each request: your IP address, your browser, the page you asked for and the time. Vercel keeps this in its own logs, under its own policy. Our own code never writes your IP address or browser, in readable form, to a log or a database.

## Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies.

The only thing it keeps in your browser is one small note, named `mcpdelta-notice` (in your browser’s local storage), saying you closed the privacy notice at the bottom of the page. It holds no personal data, and nothing reads it except that notice. You can delete it in your browser’s settings.

There is no analytics and no advertising, and no font, script or image is loaded from another company: everything comes from mcpdelta.com.

## Who handles the data for us

Two companies process data for us:

- **Vercel Inc.** hosts the website and runs the small server code behind the forms. [Vercel’s privacy notice](https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-notice).
- **Upstash** provides the database that holds the waiting list and the counters. [Upstash’s privacy policy](https://upstash.com/trust/privacy.pdf).

They may process data in countries other than yours. We don’t sell your data, share it for advertising, or give it to anyone else.

## Your rights

Where the law gives you these rights (in the EU and the UK, under the GDPR, and in many other places), you can ask us to:

-   show you the data we hold about you;
-   correct it;
-   delete it;
-   limit how we use it;
-   stop using it where we rely on our legitimate interest (the click counter);
-   give you the data you provided, in a common format (for the waiting list, your address);
- or withdraw your consent, at any time.

Write to [contact@mcpdelta.com](mailto:contact@mcpdelta.com). We answer within one month, and we may ask you to confirm that the address is yours. We don’t keep your IP address or browser, so we can’t tell which daily fingerprint, if any, is yours, and it is deleted after an hour: there is nothing to look up or to correct there.

You can also complain to your data protection authority: in the EU, [the list is on the EDPB website](https://www.edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/our-members_en); in the UK, it is [the ICO](https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/).

## The Delta MCP app

The app is a different matter. It runs on your computer and keeps your tasks, history and keys there. What it sends, and what it never does, is on [Security & privacy](https://www.mcpdelta.com/security), and where its files live is on [Where your data lives](https://www.mcpdelta.com/docs/data).

## Changes

When this page changes, the date at the top changes too. If we ever add analytics, cookies or a new use of your email, we will say so here before it starts, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
